welcome to eunco

“Eun” means gift or grace in Korean, and eunco was created from the love of three sisters who wanted to stay connected. And we have done so across time and distance—through eunco. We hope you will find here many graceful ways to connect with your own loved ones.

Eunco was the idea of three creative sisters who, despite living at opposite ends of the country, knew we could work together around beautiful and deeply felt design.

Eunkyung (ek), the oldest sister, a musician and Eunhee, the youngest, a fashion designer, live in California. Eunju, the middle sister, is a painter who moved to New York City about twenty years ago. She works in a large, light-filled studio in Jersey City, where her paintings are available for viewing.

We write, we call, we visit—with eunco always at the heart. Through the last two decades, Eunju has sent thousands of notes and decorated packages to our family in California. She would often tear a monoprint and write a letter on the various pieces. In 2000, we realized that the delicacy of Eunju’s work could be highlighted in these small beautiful pieces.

It is our hope that Eunju's art will help you celebrate the gift of life and share our love with others. Eunco has now moved to New York to join Eunju, but Eunhee will continue to design her lovely shirts in Los Angeles.
